What are Course Reserves?

Answer

Course Reserves are books and other items that are in high demand by students, or have been "reserved" by instructors for students in their class. Items in the Reserves Collection are located behind the Circulation desk and have limited borrowing times with fines to make it possible for the most students to use the materials. You must be a SMCCCD student, faculty, or staff to check out Course Reserve materials.

Note that not all course material is available on reserve and must be requested by faculty. If you are faculty who would like to place materials on reserve, please visit our reserves request form.
